WP4 aims to:

• Identify uncertainties and evaluate the current assessment phase for EoL batteries.
• Develop a battery diagnostics tool to be performed to pack and module level.
• Develop technologies for fast and efficient discharge of used batteries.
• Design a new traceability system along the battery value chain and create an innovative battery passport.
• Define the standardization of EoL battery assessment and discharge processes.
